Subscription and cosmetic purchases
Loftia uses a buy-to-play model. The official FAQ says there is no Loftia subscription required to play after purchasing the game.
Optional microtransactions and a season pass are announced as cosmetics only. The FAQ says a single purchase gives access to all gameplay. Specific cosmetic prices, season-pass prices and reward lists have not been confirmed by this page.
Platform memberships are a separate issue: the absence of a Loftia subscription does not remove any online-play membership required by a console platform.
Registration is not a game purchase
The website’s pre-registration form and a Steam wishlist are not proof of buying the game. Likewise, the public Demo’s announced open access does not make the paid Early Access game free to play.
Use the official Steam page to check the store when purchasing becomes available.
